The Beaver Dam Community Food Pantry will be relocating.
Central Wisconsin Community Action Council, Inc., managing agency for the Beaver Dam Community Food Pantry and other basic human services, will be relocating to 311 Dodge Drive in Beaver Dam.
After 20 years located at 134 South Spring Street, CWCAC, Inc. recently sold that building to a local developer and purchased a 2.4-acre lot on Dodge Drive near St. Vincent de Paul and Renewal Unlimited, Inc. Head Start building. The planned new facility will occupy CWCAC, Inc. staff and a state-of-the-art food pantry. Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2027 with anticipated opening by December 2027. Until then, the Beaver Dam Community Food Pantry remains at the same location that it has been at for the last 20 years – 134 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam – sharing office space with other CWCAC, Inc. program staff until completion of the new building.
60th Anniversary Celebration!
Central Wisconsin Community Action Council, Inc. has been operational for the past 60 years serving a five-county district; Adams, Columbia, Dodge, Juneau, and Sauk, with staff located in each county and the central administrative and other program staff residing in Wisconsin Dells for each of these 60 years.
To celebrate our 60th Anniversary, celebrations are being held in each of our five counties, with the final celebration in Beaver Dam on October 14, 2026, at 311 Dodge Drive, site of the proposed CWCAC, Inc. Beaver Dam office and food pantry building.
The Dodge County 60th Anniversary Celebration will include entertainment, face painting, food (free hot dogs), prizes, raffle for a chance to win two Green Bay Packers tickets for the Packers versus Buffalo Bills, food pantry drive, and a short inspirational program.
More information will be published and broadcast throughout the county. The public is invited to participate and join us as we celebrate a milestone event. We are excited to present and share our plans for the new CWCAC, Inc. office and community food pantry. Looking forward to seeing you on October 14, 2026!
