Project Chance TBRA Program – Homeless Unit
“I was accepted into the Project Chance Rapid Rehousing Program in July 2024 after being a client of Pathway Home in Baraboo due to homelessness. This program has been a great help to me on my journey toward self-sufficiency. This program allowed me to work part-time while attending classes, making it possible for me to afford my own apartment without the stress of balancing work full-time with full-time school. This stability helped me to complete my schooling and transition into a better-paying, full-time job, one that will allow me to remain self-sufficient moving forward! The monthly home visits were also invaluable. Being able to sit down with Kati Fry in my own home, share my progress, create monthly goals, be connected to resources, and have her answer any questions or concerns was helpful. Her caring attitude and willingness to listen provided reassurance during stressful times, and I truly appreciated her support as much as the rental assistance itself. In conclusion, this program has been life-changing for me. It has empowered me not only to become self-sufficient but also inspired me to give back by working in a field where I now help others improve their lives, just as CWCAC and Ms. Fry helped improve mine.
